Mineraliengrosshandel Hausen GmbH
Dear Sir or Madam!
Regarding gemstones and jewelry, who wouldn't be interested in finding something new and rare?

Our company travels worldwide to locate and mine many rare and unusual natural stones, including gemstones and minerals, that we process into many kinds of jewelry and jewelry components. These products are seldom found anywhere else. Our affordable gems, bead strands and finished jewelry products include:
» Barite
» Thulite
» Nellite (aka Lionskin)
» Tucson Gem Show
» Specials

»  Barite

Barite is chemically known as barium sulfate. Its wide range of possible colors includes clear, white, green, red, brown, gray, and blue. A compact and pure white stone variety is very uncommon, but we have a reliable mine for it in Germany. This unusual mineral is used frequently in the medical and nuclear fields for its anti-radioactive properties, utilized in x-ray rooms and atomic reactors.

Because of its brittle tendency, Barite can be difficult to work with. However, we offer 40 mm donuts, disks for pocket stones or wire wrapping, round 8 and 10 mm bead strands for jewelry crafting, and ready-to-wear necklace strands in 8mm and 10mm round beads. These are all bright matte white, and offer the same radioactive protection as the natural stone.

For mineral collectors, we also offer this stone as rough pieces in various sizes. Many display the crystal habit.

» Thulite
One of our bestsellers is polished thulite, a pink-hued gemstone. Our initial availability of finished pieces, introduced a short time ago, sold out quickly.

Frequent newsletter readers will remember our report on the mining process in Norway, which you can reread here. We are pleased to again offer necklaces, drop bead pendants, 30 and 40 mm donuts, disks, and 8 and 10 mm bead strands for sale.

» Nellite

This extraordinary mineral is found in the area of the large tiger eye mines in South Africa. It's an unusual combination of quartz and tiger eye with interweaving ingrown transitions of blue, yellow and clear/white colorations. Nellite has not yet been classified, but it is probably a mix of falcon eye (natural blue tiger eye) and pietersite, or it could even be an intermediary stone between tiger eye and pietersite.

If cut thin, nellite is partly transparent, which is an especially beautiful quality in its finished jewelry pieces. Many also display the golden or blue shimmer for which tiger eye and hawk eye are so famous. We now have a limited variety of different shapes, including drop pendants, round bead strands, necklaces and disk stones for wire wrapping or holding. In addition to the rarity of these stone products, our prices are also unbeatable!

We are proud to offer these new variations of jewelry pieces next to chunks of the rough stone, which has been available in our store for quite a while.
